Pole Sitter
Fastest Lap
The 2025 MotoGP season finished in usual fashion on the east coast of Spain for the 26th Valencian Grand Prix. The Circuit Ricardo Tormo had previously been used 26 times, with the most successful rider being Dani Pedrosa, having won four times and scoring eight podiums. Pecco Bagnaia was the most prolific active rider, with two victories.
On Saturday, Marco Bezzecchi took pole position by two hundredths from Álex Márquez, setting a new all time lap record in the process. However, it was the latter who took the honours in the Sprint Race, with Pedro Acosta and Fabio Di Giannantonio rounding out the sprint podium.
Sunday saw the in-form rider, Marco Bezzecchi, take this third grand prix win of the season, and second in a row. The Italian rider increased his career tally to six wins and this was his first consecutive win. Bezzecchi dominated Sunday’s race by leading every lap, bringing his career total laps led up to 187.
It was Aprilia’s 8th win, which means they now move ahead of KTM on the list of wins by manufacturer.
